Wolf Street is a blog that covers the stories behind business, finance, and money. A prolific writer, Wolf sometimes publishing multiple times per day. Often sharing information before many others have in his own unique style.

Reality Check by Alan Tonelson

Reality Check is a blog that covers economics and national security. A topic Alan covers that has not received as much attention as it warrants is the productivity recession. The article is worth checking out.

Mark Rober

How are these images related?

You probably did not expect to find this while reading a site about economics. Mark Rober’s video humorously and informatively brings the viewer on a journey into the call center scamming industry. He infiltrated 4 different scam call centers. There they released coach roaches, smoke bombs, glitter bombs, and other pranks, which were captured on video. The video informs the viewer about both how to avoid as well as what they can do to help prevent such scams.

The video reports that one of the centers will be shut down as a result of the information gathered. So they put a dent in this industry that steals approximately $20 billion per year from approximately 60 million people per year. Apparently, it makes for good economics after all.
